Compass Roses are a frequent tattoo of Sailors. It signifies many things including always finding ones way home. Its also used as a symbol for the US Coast Guard. For me it signifies a new direction in my life.

Hey I know alot of other people have asked you, but I would like to use this as a design for a tattoo. I lost my grandpa two years ago and he taught me how to sail so I've wanted to get a compass rose tattoo in honor of him, and this is the design I like best. Would it be okay for me to use it?

I just want to say materchris11 i was thinking of taking that same tattoo 2mrw... And your comment about what is symbolizes makes it even better... see because i lost my dad last month in a trebile plane crash.... he was ah sailor and also an ex - coast guard.
I just wanted to kno if it was cool if i used ur design for ah tattoo.?
I just thought it would be ah great way to remember him... And hope his spirit finds its way home..
